The Golf Doc

Our Golf Doc - James O'Dowd is well known for his passion and heritage in golf and brings a wealth of experience to the golf development sector. Known across the Kingdom of Kerry as golf's 'go-to-guy', his experience is now available to individuals and companies.

Having worked for over 10 years on the management side of golfing retail (Ring of Kerry Pro Shop, Nevada Bobs) James recognised the need for something even more specialised. This need to fully deliver on customer needs, requests and requirements, coupled to a strong repair service led to the opening of 'Kerry Golf' in 2009. This proved to be a winning formula and an even larger store - O'Dowd's Golf Shop - opened in 2011 and continues to thrive.

James has earned his sterling reputation by giving his customers not only what they want, but also what they need. From the perfect personalised piece of advice to just the right piece of kit, there's a reason why The Golf Doc is the one so many golfers turn to, time and again. He understands that critical combination of knowing the sport AND understanding the individual. Blending both with his years of experience, and passion for results, means that you get to unlock your game in a way which is perfectly suited to you alone.
